  • 2 slices slices of bread (white or whole wheat) Use your favorite type of bread.
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or crunchy) Choose your preferred texture.
  • 2 tablespoons jelly or jam Use your favorite flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon butter or cooking spray For a crispy finish.

Preparation

  • Spread the creamy peanut butter generously on one slice of bread, letting it reach the edges.
  • On the other slice, spread the sweet jelly or jam.
  • Press the two slices together firmly to form your sandwich.
  • Lightly butter the outside of the sandwich or mist it with cooking spray.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden and the insides are gooey.
  • Let it cool for a minute before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different nut butters or jams. For fun, use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to slice sandwiches!
