Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently stir in the pecan halves, allowing them to mingle with the sweet filling.
  • Pour the luscious pecan mixture into the unbaked pie crust, carefully spreading it to ensure even coverage.

Baking

  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cooling

  • Allow to cool before slicing and serving, letting those sweet flavors settle in for a perfect slice every time.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing the pie filling a day in advance. For clean slices, use a sharp knife dipped in hot water; wipe between cuts for a pristine look. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or in the refrigerator for longer freshness.
