Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with lean ground turkey for a healthier option
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions Optional, for garnish

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce and honey.
  • Place the meatballs in the Crockpot and pour the BBQ honey sauce over the top.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Make-Ahead Magic: You can prepare the meatballs in advance and freeze them. Thaw before cooking for an easy weeknight meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
