- 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (or 2 tablespoons dried)
- 2 cups water
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or fresh lemon juice (optional, for flavor)
Wash & prep: Rinse your fresh lemon balm leaves gently under cool water. Shake off excess moisture and pat dry with a clean towel.
Boil the water: In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a soft boil over medium heat.
Steep the herbs: Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat. Add in your lemon balm leaves. Cover the pot with a lid and let the mixture steep undisturbed for about 10 minutes.
Strain & flavor: Strain the tea into your favorite cup or teapot. If desired, stir in a teaspoon of honey or a splash of lemon juice to enhance the flavor.
Sip & relax: Enjoy it warm for a comforting evening detox, or chill it in the fridge and serve over ice for a crisp, refreshing daytime sip.
