Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups baby broccoli
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving Optional

Instructions

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced onion and baby broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Add minced garlic and stir for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Return the beef to the skillet with vegetables; mix well.
  • Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the meat and vegetables evenly.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens slightly.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Make ahead and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can swap ground beef for turkey or chicken. Try adding chili paste or other veggies for variations.
